Hi Debbie, Just wanted to give you some feedback and let you know Zalia did a fantastic job at the party on Saturday, painting 20 little faces in 2 hours. The children were delighted and the adults were very impressed with the quality of her work. She is very talented. Please pass on our thanks to Zalia!

I just wanted to give you some feedback following the ‘fairy visit’ at my place on Saturday 16th June.

We were absolutely thrilled with the service shown by Fairy Zee. Her general disposition, her attitude to the whole service, and her skills at balloon twisting and face painting were absolutely superb. I cannot stress how much we all thought – this woman is just wonderful (that included all my guests). Her willingness to go the extra mile and her demeanour towards the children was fantastic.

Thank you for providing such a wonderful person to enchant my daughter and her friends. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

We recently held a community fundraiser called Push 4 MoOre! to make Fremantle more cycle-friendly, and Zalia volunteered to be our MC for the night. From the first time I met her, she was bursting with energy and enthusiasm for the event, and it was such a great pleasure to have her as part of the team.

She contributed a few great ideas to our event – including the adoption of ‘The Pushbike Song’ as our theme song, and the use of one of her characters ‘Lily the Frog’ as a surprise guest to the event. Lily the Frog rode in on a bicycle and was a great hit with everyone for about an hour – contributing to around $1000 of raffle ticket sales on the night. When she stepped onto the stage she seemed to have the whole room in the palm of her hand.

At one stage she had everyone stomping their feet with her on stage. The energy was fantastic and we would jump at the opportunity to have her as an MC for any of our future events. Thanks Zalia

For the whole 80-minute of this solo performance in a cabaret setting, not a glass chinked nor a crisp crunched, the audience were held totally mesmerised. Despite Zalia Joi having most competently co-written, sung, acted, delivered humor and story told in this production, one still feels that the genius that we saw is only the tip of an iceberg of immense talent. This show could have a run to full houses for weeks, not only the two nights allotted which were sold out well in advance. When the show finished in was with some people and they just looked at each other and gasped, “Wasn’t that unbelievable?” You were truly magnificent – as always. Well done.

There is no denying the considerable talent of Zali a Joi. She inhabits the characters she portrays thoroughly and sings splendidly, hitting difficult high notes with ease. The woman’s Australian accent is charming; her retelling of the folk tale The Skeleton Woman, complemented by campfire lighting and bone-like percussion, is graceful and moving.

Zalia Joi!!! what an amazing performance you gave last night, how proud you must be!! You had the audience in the palm of your hand from start to finish, you really rocked, best show I have seen in years and how great it was to s ee a full house, I love you for who you are, your talent and …your determination , you de served every applause. My god you played numerous characters, you danced, you sang an d played guitar. Oh and you composed the songs and co-wrote the show!!!!!!!

Your performance on Friday night was awsome, superb, professional and very talented!! You were wonderful and we loved it!! My husband and a friend were with me and they both loved it too, both said you are so talented. I hope this is the start of bigger and better things for you, and a wonderfully well paid career!

Please could you relay a message to Zalia Joi as we’d like to thank her for making our Kentz Christmas party an event to remember. To say that she was excellent is an understatement, she was brilliant! Her performance as Marilyn and then as Miss Deva Deelite was fantastic and her professionalism is to be commended.
